Employing Orphans

We are grateful for your support!  Here are some of the aged-out orphans that your donations help us employ at the Kisumu Kenya Safe Water Project.

Faith Achieng

Faith Achieng is a very focused and dedicated girl. She is among the most active youths in church. She lost her parents to HIV/AIDS.

Florence Osewe

Florence Osewe is a widow and also a self-dedicated woman to God. She is one of the pillars of gospel in Christ’s Commission Fellowship Church, Kisumu Kenya. She lost her husband through illness.

CAROLYN MASEKE

Carolyn Maseke is an orphan that lost her father through a road accident.

Mary Atieno

Mary Atieno is a hard working girl that is very active in church. She lost her parents in tribal clashes.

ANN ACHIENG

Ann Achieng is one of the very dedicated orphans in the Church. She lost her parents due to HIV/AIDS.

Susan Akoth

Susan Akoth is an orphan in Church and lost her parents due to HIV/AIDS.

Mary Akoth

Mary Akoth is an orphan in church. She is also very active and committed. She lost her mother to breast cancer.

KevinsO

Kevins Omondi lost both parents to HIV/AIDS and lives with his grandmother who is now too old to support the family. Kevins is struggling to support surviving family members including five siblings.

Kevin Omondi was brought up by his mother after losing his father to HIV/AIDS. His mother is now HIV positive and too ill to support the family. Kevin works odd jobs to support the family including four siblings.

Colince Ocheing lost both parents in a tragic road accident. He is struggling to support his surviving family including four siblings.

Kevin Odhiambo’s father died of heart failure. He is an orphan and very dedicated in church activities. He is the eldest of four siblings.

Damian Owino’s father passed away after the shock of losing his job. His mother is HIV positive and is too ill to support the family. Damian is struggling to support the family, which includes two siblings.

Colius Odour lost both his parents in a cholera outbreak. He lives with his grandmother and is the sole breadwinner for the family, which includes four siblings.

Lucas Juma Onyango lost his dad to leprosy and his mother has throat cancer. He is the sole breadwinner for the family, which includes six siblings.

Johnson Ochieng’s father was murdered in the post election violence. He stays with his mother who is HIV positive and too ill to support the family. Johnson is taking care of the family as best he can which includes four siblings.

Charles Odhiambo’s father was a local stonemason who died in the rubble of a building collapse. His mother died of a heart attack after hearing the news of her husband’s death. Charles is struggling to support the family, which includes three siblings.

Jared Odhiambo lost both his parents to HIV/AIDS and is struggling to support his surviving family, which includes three siblings for which he is the sole source of support.

Henry Okech lost both his parents to a cholera outbreak. He now cares for his four siblings and is the sole breadwinner.

Felix Onyango lost his mother to malaria and his father is a drug addict that abandoned the family. Felix is struggling to support two siblings.

Dalma Ochieng was brought up by his mother after his parents divorced. His mother is now crippled and he is struggling to support the family, which includes three siblings.

Ivan Onyango lost his father when he was struck by lightning. His mother is an epileptic. Ivan is struggling to support the family, which includes four siblings.

Antone Oketch lost both parents and his youngest sibling in a road accident. He currently stays with his grandmother who is too old to support the family. He is struggling to support the family, which includes two surviving siblings.

Walter Ochola Onyango is 26years old. His father died from cholera. He is a very dedicated boy in the Church.
